The more the friction / wetted perimeter, the larger the hydraulic radius.
So the larger the hydraulic radius, the lower the channel efficiency.

The correct answer is C, but your answer is A.
Sounds like you don’t understand option (3).
When trees are cut, there will be less transpiration. There may be some more evaporation of soil moisture. When evaporation and transpiration are summed up, the total amount is reduced.

Your answer is D, but the correct answer is C.
Beach nourishment can recover a beach affected by coastal erosion, e.g. by refilling sea sand on the beach AFTER EROSION.
Coral reef growing can slow down sea currents, thus reducing coastal erosion
